Isobar now has 3015 people working in a global network of 104 offices in 38 markets. It has a unique structure and culture with Isobar providing the network structure to many of the world's leading digital agencies, all of whom are fully owned but all of them retaining what makes them special; their own identity, their culture and their specialisation or local relevance.
In early 2003 when the internet industry was still reeling
from the dot com bust, Aegis created a specialist division
to build a truly global, full service digital marketing network. That decision was born of a vision and conviction that
digital was the future of media.
The division was branded Isobar on 5 July 2004 and consisted of 200 people and the vision to create something very different in marketing services; a network designed purely for a digital world. A world that is now here. The
drivers of that vision were a celebration of global diversity and a total focus on creating an organisation that could
best deliver creativity, innovation and agility, the keys
to success in a digital environment.
Isobar and all the agencies in the Network also share
a clear communication philosophy, "Creating Time". Our central belief is that brands need to create experiences
and communications where consumers choose to spend time with brands, to tell stories about brands and to be in
an active relationship with the brand. Time is now the true currency of Communication.
